Personality
Janica is a very self-confident and independent woman. She is convinced to be always right and insists on being top dog. She does what she wants and it is quite difficult to sidetrack her. She works hard to achieve her dreams. At first glance she may not look like it, but she is a real workaholic and spends a lot of time caring for her country. She never drops her goals thanks to her absolute stubbornness and risks a lot in order to achieve them. This led to various quarrels many times already, particularly her neighbors had to deal with her obstinacy and feisty personality a lot. Because of their headstrong and stubborn nature she always has a hard time making friends with other countries, especially in her past. Nowadays it's not as hard for her anymore, but she still has problems in bonding with others. While there are still some conflicts between her and other countries, she strives to overcome them someday, even if it seems to be a long and hard way. Due to her personality is may seem like she doesn't care what others think about her but that's mostly wrong. Janica craves recognition and is therefore easily influenced by  the opinions and views of others which she may not even recognizes most of the time.
Although she tries to remain quiet steadily, her attempts fail rather often. Janica is in fact very spirited and it's easy to provoke her. If she gets really angry, she becomes unstoppable and throws swear words around like confetti. And don't you dare say something wrong or even offensive about her, she'll get furious very quickly. Janica is very sure of herself and likes to talk about herself and her country. She loves to be the center of attention and noticeably enjoys to get recognition from others. She also pays close attention to her appearance, attaches great importance to hygiene and makeup and has a lot of fun dressing up all elegant and fashionable. Not without reason it is said that the most beautiful women come from Croatia.
At first glance you might think she is just a selfish, narcissistic girl, but this appearance is deceptive. Janica is a very hospitable woman and loves to meet new people from other places. She tries to be always friendly, even if she is in a bad temper due to her constant mood swings. Janica is a very open-minded person. She enjoys talking much and loves to hear the newest gossip.
In addition to her work, she is physically very active and really interested in sports which means that she participates in many different sport activities. Her by far favorite sport is football, which she pays the most attention to. The national football team of Croatia has many followers and is nicknamed "Kockasti" ("the checkered") and "Vatreni" ("the fiery"). In addition to football, she is also very interested in handball, basketball, tennis, water polo and swimming. Besides pursuing sporting activities, she likes to go hiking in the mountains or tries to relax on the beach in her spare time. Janica is very interested in the environment and takes special care of her nature and landscapes, as these are very important parts of Croatia. Altogether, there are 450 protected areas in Croatia.
Another major activity of her is celebrating and going to parties. Janica doesn't only like to drink, but also celebrates regularly - whether beach parties or discos, she is everywhere where the mood is good. Events and festivals are also very important to her. Great festivals are for example the Croatian carnival, the Summer Festival of Zagreb, the International Folklore Festival in Zagreb, the knights festival Sinjska alka in Sinj and the International Music Tribune in Pula.
Her other fields of interest include art and culture, where painting and sculpting is clearly the focus. Music is also one of her interests. In addition to traditional music, such as Klapa or Tamburica music, classical music is also a popular style of music along with jazz, blues and pop.
In total, Janica can be described as a hard-working woman who stubbornly pursues her objectives and can't be discourage by anyone. She is open to new and enjoy meeting people from around the world but never loses track of herself. She is very communicative and socialized. She has a keen recreational life - boredom does not exist in her life. And as long as everything goes according to her plan, she is a cheerful and nice person.

Croatia is a country, which is characterized by different regions. It has a lot of small regions, but is usually divided in four parts: Central Croatia, Slavonia, Istria and Dalmatia.
• Središnja Hrvatska (Central Croatia) A region located in the very heart of Croatia. Central Croatia offers great opportunities for recreation, arts tourism, sight-seeing in interesting towns, castles and natural points of interest. A region of rolling hills with many vineyards, covered in forests and intersected by rivers, with numerous Baroque-period churches, monasteries, castles, forts and museums.
• Slavonija (Slavonia) A fertile region that stretches from the Ilova River in the west, over the Sava and Drava basins to the Hungarian border in the north. The land is the most productive in Croatia, yielding wheat, corn, sugar beets, sunflowers, alfalfa and clover as well as oil and gas. In contrast to the rugged Croatian coastline, the terrain is flat.
• Istra (Istria) Istria is one of the most popular destinations for foreign visitors to Croatia. Istria is characterized by medieval hilltop settlements and stone-built villages, also beaches which are often quite rocky areas. The region has a strong Italian influence - the region in fact used to be part of Italy during the early part of the 20th century.
• Dalmacija (Dalmatia) A region of Croatia, comprising a central coastal strip and a fringe of islands along the Adriatic Sea. The Dalmatian coastline has numerous bays and harbours and is noted for its scenic beauty. The climate is mild, with dry summers, abundant rain in autumn and winter, and very little snow.
